چکیده

The Field experiments were conducted during 2012-19 to determine the effect of changing weather such as (Tmax, Tmin, Tavg, Solar radiation and CO2 concentration) on grain yield, LAI, Anthesis days maturity four rice cultivars i.e (Swarna sub 1, Sarjoo 52, Pant Dhan 4 NDR 359) at college forestry farm , SHUATS Prayagraj. DSSAT-CERES model was calibrated validated, for under Prayagraj conditions it observed that values Percent error, RMSE, nRMSE Pearson correlation coefficient (r) good in agreement within permissible limit. Among all varieties 359 yields more followed by pant dhan 4, Swarna 1 sarjoo-52. result revealed increasing temperature Tavg) variety phenophases yield got reduced but increased condition concentration increased. In case LAI same phenophase flowering stage crop there no found. During interaction between with anthesis found Tmax Tavg. Other parameter has it. aturity significant 5% or 1% level henophases. research outcome indicates that, future farming will be challengeable due climate change, we must prepare suitable management plan tackle situation.

Assessment of Yield Loss in Rice due to Yellow Stem Borer, Scirpophaga incertulas, Using Simulation Models

The yield loss simulation (YLS) and the MACROS LIQ.CSM models were used to simulate the effect of stem borer damage at a detillering rate of 5, 15, 30, 60% at vegetative, panicle initiation and grain filing stages, on yield of rice cultivar?s Ratna. This stem borer damage during vegetative and panicle initiation stages was not simulated appropriately by both the models. Relatively MACROS simul...

Understanding the weather signal in national crop-yield variability: Weather-signal in crop-yield variability

Year-to-year variations in crop yields can have major impacts on the livelihoods of subsistence farmers and may trigger significant global price fluctuations, with severe consequences for people in developing countries. Fluctuations can be induced by weather conditions, management decisions, weeds, diseases, and pests. Although an explicit quantification and deeper understanding of weather-indu...

National Spatial Crop Yield Simulation Using Gis-based Crop Production Model

Traditional decision support systems based on crop simulation models are normally site-specific. In policy formulation, however, spatial variability of crop production often need to be evaluated due to different soil conditions, weather conditions and agricultural practices within a target-region. To address the spatial variability, a spatial model “Spatial EPIC” was developed based on a crop s...
